So my husband and I have had to make the tough decision to not have anymore children. We had a lot of complications in my last pregnancy, in which my daughter and I both almost died.

We’ve been talking about adoption for a while now, and tomorrow I’m finally making the phone call to get the ball rolling.

We’re adopting a local child. My older stepsister is in the process of adopting a child from Ghana, and it’s been a like 5 year process that’s going nowhere. We feel better about fostering and adopting a child in need here.

Any suggestions/tips for first timers? ❤️
