Am I being dramatic?

So I haven’t been driving for that long and I went onto a busy road the other day and I came across a cross walk and so I had to stop just before the chick walked across i had to quickly stop cause you can barely see the cross walk until like 2 seconds away and it’s like a 50 zone there. As soon as I stoped I didn’t realise there was a bus right behind me and It nearly crashed the back of my cars ass. And I was really scared after that cause that never happened to me before and I have only been driving for a few hours. When I got home I was crying to my mum shaking because it terrified me she said I was being dramatic and I should grow up.

That would be scary and she could have been nicer about it. I can say that where I live, you have to have control of your  vehicle so technically if the bus slammed into the back of you, you wouldn’t have been at fault. The bus shouldn’t be driving that close behind you. As for the crosswalk, are they at an intersection with a light because you wouldn’t have had to stop if your light was green. It odd to have a crosswalk not working with a light in a spot where it’s 50 mph

Umm absolutely not. Your emotions are valid and no one can tell you otherwise. That was the first time and I’m sure it brought on some anxiety, possibly even a panic attack. I have been driving for about 10 years and I still get a racing heart when someone comes too close behind me, especially since I was crashed into last October at a red light. Driving is not something to take lightly.
