STI Testing

Does anyone know if vaginal infections (yeast, BV, etc) can make STI tests come back inaccurate or with false results? This includes blood work and vaginal swabs! Or are they unaffected? I’ve been tested for STI’s multiple times, and it always comes back negative, but yet I still get symptoms that relate to some and I can’t find any other cause for the symtpoms. And, the last couple times I was tested for STI’s I’m pretty sure I had a vaginal infection during those times of the tests as I never really had symptoms for an infection, but I always get swabbed for them just to check when I go in for STI tests!
