Water breaking confusion?

FTM and I’m currently 37 weeks and 3 days. I was sitting on excise ball and I felt my dress wet. I looked in the mirror and noticed a spot about a silver dollar big of wetness. It didn’t feel like I leaked urine at all as I have done that on accident when sneezing before and it’s a different sensation. I’ve monitored for an hour and nothing. Should I still call or go in?

When my water broke I never felt a pop instead I felt gushing I thought I was just peeing myself so I didnt think nothing of it but I continued to gush with any movement I made and I wet threw 2 pair of pants later I realized it was my water so I called L&D and they told me to come in to get checked out got there they checked to see if it was my water and it indeed was I had a small rupture, since I was already planned for a c-section I had my c-section that night my little boy was born at 8:55pm may 28th at 36 weeks 5 days🥰

When my water broke, I felt a distinct pop and then a big gush of warm wetness. It didn’t smell like urine. But I do know that it’s very possible for women to lose their water more slowly and without the pop.
Another sign that it was my water that popped was that my contractions suddenly increased in speed and got much more intense. But the only way to know for sure is to go to labor and delivery.

Should have said, I would call and ask if they’d like to see you. The nurse may ask over the phone if you’re having contractions and how far apart they are, so if you can time them that would be good info to give them.

It happens to me with my first child. I wet my pants and I didn’t notice. My husband asked if I pee in my pants. I said no, I took and it was wet like I had an accident, called the doctor they told me to see them the next day. I showed and they checked, my ob said nothing wrong. You won’t have this baby for another 3wks. 2 days later my water broke and she arrived at 36 wks (3 days from the accident).

With my first my water broke and it was just a little bit when I stood her head acted like a plug and fluid wouldn't leak I went to get checked and they confirmed it was my water
