The world is burning. No mask, riots, protests, vaccines, etc. are saving us. Its the sad truth but first it was this virus that was here well before it was put on the news and Trump handled poorly and terrified the American people about it, the protests are engrained in our sad, messed up history as a country and people are going to continue to die whether by the hands of the law or fellow man or pandemic. This is coming from a POC, not that it even matters.

I am sick of it all especially knowing there is no happy ending where peace is restored for any group out there. POC, LGBTQ, people who struggle with mental illness, people who struggle with physical disabilities, etc. If there ever were a "happy ending" it wouldn't be in this generation or even in this life time. I mean honestly just look at this generation growing up.. Look at the teens and young adults that are expected to go on to create the next generations and so on. So buckle up because this has been the world we live in since before the 50s and its going to be the same for a long while. Nothing can help or change that, especially not now.

On the topic of racism: Ideas don't die, people do. Once you understand that you'll understand that yea they have the right to fight to end an idea and it will be a fight unending. There will always be racism. Life isn't here to be fair and equal..no matter how bittersweet of a pill that is to swallow
