What did you baby weigh at 28 weeks?

Had my 28 week appointment today and baby’s messuring smal but is 2lb 8oz and sitting just above the 9th percentile , now they have me for scans every week saying if baby doesn’t start to go up the chat they will have to deliver at any moment ... I’m scared ... I’m in the Uk... my first daughter only measured the 9th percentile but k didn’t have to be scanned every week or anything ? Also I’m 28+5 but baby messuring 4/5 days behind ?

I’m also in the UK and at 28w and 2 days my baby was weighing less than 2lb 4oz according to the scan. I have another scan 4 weeks later (originally was going to be 2 weeks after but they moved it to minimise exposure to Covid and due to the fact that the baby was growing in line with the curve). 
I was told that my baby was 10th percentile vs general population and 16th percentile vs my weight. Yours is heavier than mine at the same stage and my doc didn’t seem worried!!

Keep in mind ultrasounds can be off up to 1.5lbs either way. So it could look like baby is small based off of positioning but next ultrasound you can go in and baby will be “normal” sized. Don’t stress too much.

I had my 28 week yesterday and she’s 2 pounds 3 oz, 8th percentile! So VERY similar to yours! My dr has been doing growth scans every single appointment and she is not concerned at thjs point. She said she’s stayed in the same growth curve throughout my pregnancy and that’s what matters. Also, my pre pregnancy weight was 94 pounds, she said she wouldn’t want me to have a huge baby anyway. See how your next scan goes but I wouldn’t worry too much!

At 27+6 my daughter weighed 2lbs 9oz and my dr said she was right on schedule! Get a second opinion if you feel unsure! 💋

I’m 30 weeks and I went yesterday at literally 30 weeks to the day and he weighs 3.3lbs. They said the 30th percentile. My doctor wasn’t worried. I wouldn’t be.

Mine was 2lb 10oz estimated on my 28 wk ultrasound. He’s in the 53%.   I have another scan Thursday at my 30 wk appointment

I’m in the UK. My sister had a baby measuring small, and she was told 1000% different things. Request to speak to your consultant directly, they will tell you what will actually be happening. Just remain positive. Have they put you on aspirin or anything?

According to the last ultrasound we were at around 3.3lbs at 28+1. But ultrasounds can be off. My daughters birth weight was half a lbs off when she was born.
Every doctor seems to handle this differently though. Some are quick to change your due date while others really don’t care. If it really gets to the point where your doctor wants to deliver your baby super early, I would maybe get a second opinion just in case
