Rioting won’t make society any less racist. It doesn’t engender respect in the slightest. Especially when some of the destroyed businesses are minority owned themselves. It’s really quite sad. Just my two cents. 🤷‍♀️

Exactly so many women on here saying “riots don’t do anything” or “it’s sad his life is gone BUT..” there shouldn’t be any buts after that. Riots ARE EFFECTIVE. If they continually beat down, kill, and not listen to what we have to say we will make you listen. MLK tried being peaceful and he was still assassinated, that right there told us they don’t want us to do anything but shut up and take the abuse.

People are angry and have every right to be.  Do I agree in destroying stores no but we dont know what's its like until we walk a mile in someone's else's shoes.  This isn't the first time a cop has killed a black man for no reason.  This has to stop!!!! All I can do is pray for peace.

I no longer believe this murder was strictly racial, or even a random act of police brutality. It has now come to light that Chauvin and Floyd had beef with each other (you can find this on cnn and any other network) and worked together as security guards. I think Chauvin was dispatched to the call or maybe even chose to respond to the call when he heard it was Floyd. I think he then chose to murder him because there was beef between them. What kind of beef? We probably won’t ever get the full story. Maybe Floyd saw Chauvin do something illegal and was going to rat him out. I think Floyd may have initially resisted because he was afraid to let Chauvin get him in his car or transport him anywhere. 
But I no longer believe this was just a random act and racially motivated
