Not sure if I’m going into labor yet.. confused??

I’m 38 weeks measuring 40 weeks already!! Two nights ago I had what I thought was leaking, the next morning I woke up with regular wetness. I called my doctor and was able to get a next day appointment. The day of my appointment I woke up with period-like cramps and lower back ache that has been coming and going. I went to my appointment and she told me my water did not break and that I am not dilated yet n that i probably just peed myself.... which hasn’t happened to me before lol so what are these cramps about...??? I’m confused. I’m currently still having them. Is it possible I may still go into labor soon even though I’m not dilated/water hasn’t broke??
