Fish oil supplements?

Are they necessary, safe? Should I be taking the.if I don't eat fish? I'm 5 weeks and have been taking a prenatal for 2 months

I was told that fish oil was fine to take during pregnancy (not necessarily that it has any additional benefits) but to stop taking it around 36 weeks as it may have a blood-thinning effect. That said, I took it up until close to my due date last time!

DHA is better. Also whole food liquid prenatal is absorbed 75% better than pills gummies you might as well not even bother taking them for what is absorbed. One with iron is really necessary also
