Borris Johnson willing to give 3 million British Passports to oppressed citizens of Hong Kong

Hey ladies

I was watching Sky news on the tv and one of the news topics was that Boris Johnson is willing to give 3 million British Passports to the citizens of Hong Kong because they are being oppressed by the Chinese government.

Anyway if you think of oppressed people or even people who are facing genocide in the world...many people come to mind such as Rohingyans and Syrians (for example)...Do you wonder if they deserve "British passports" too? ...If not why not?

By the way this is strictly on the basis of discussion/debate. I am not saying that the Hong Kong citizens don't deserve to be given help by the UK...but maybe they can give 1 million passports to the top 3 "oppressed" minorities of the world (including Hong Kong) ...or they can just stick to Hong Kong only and i think that's fine too because they still need all the help they can get... This is just a debate..
