My friends husband is dying💔

We were best friends before my kids were born, and that changed things. But we still talk or text and go out to dinner for birthdays or occasionally. Just not like we use to.

He was diagnosed with cancer in November and everything seemed to be going well until last week. He’s now home on hospice.

She’s asked for no text or calls.

My heart is breaking for her, I could not imagine the pain she’s going through. And I don’t know what I can do for her.

It also hurts me knowing I wasn’t around as much as I use to, for either of them because he was a friend too.

I ordered a necklace for her 2 months ago!!!! And it has not arrived yet!!!! And I planned on taking it over there when it arrived.....

But I don’t know what else I can do for her? I had asked her a few weeks ago if she wanted me to bring over lunch and she never responded. And I wanted to ask if she wanted to come over for a social distancing drink but then things went down hill, so I never did

But is there anything else?

I’m sure I’d want to be alone too, so should I wait for her?
