Experience with induced labor?

Question

Going in Monday evening to be induced and have no idea what to expect! If you have any experience or tips drop them below 😋

I went in last week and it failed 😞. They sent me home because baby was doing good and are giving me a chance to progress on my own before they try again. They don’t want to push it and put me in a position that I end up needing a c-section. Hopefully, yours goes better! If you’re being induced for being overdue, your chances are better. I went in at exactly 38 weeks and clearly, my body/baby were not ready and my “risk factors” aren’t bad enough to push through it.

Answer

Bring snacks. Even if you don't get to eat them your husband will appreciate them, especially because hospital food isn't very  tasty. Also, sleep when you can. Cause once those contractions pick up, there's no getting any rest until or unless you're planning on getting drugs. And depending how ready your body is, it could take days, so be prepared for that possibility. 😊
