So the arguments of statues had come up again during the black lives matter protests especially in the U.K. There are quite a lot of statues where it’s clear those people shouldn’t be celebrated anymore but occasionally you get those people that were racist but did other things that for some people eclipse that for example Winston Churchill. Winston Churchill was racist but he won the war for Britain, should his statue stay up? What about George Washington? He was slave owner. How do we decide who deserves a statue and who doesn’t .
