Mamas who have/had 2 under2: what kind of stroller did you have?

Question

I have a 1 year old that is walking and currently pregnant with #2. Hubs and I are trying to figure out if the double stroller is worth it or not. 
What did you have for 2?
Did you use it often?
Was it worth it to have?

We won't have 2 under 2 but we are going to get this stroller so our daughter can stand or sit if she wants and we still have our infant graco car seat

I have this brand, but an older model I bought off Marketplace. It’s in great shape and I only paid $80! Then I bought the universal car seat adaptor so I could still use my Chico Keyfit infant car seat for the first couple months. My sons are 20 months apart (an almost 2 year old and a 3 month old). We go for a walk almost everyday. I never trusted my 20 month old would stay put on a sit and stand, he still sits well in a stroller but I think if he knew he could get up and out he’d only want to walk. Due to covid we haven’t used the stroller in a store yet but I have disassembled it to put in the car and go walk at a sculpture park instead of the neighborhood on occasion. It’s not the simplest disassembling it and putting it in a car but I don’t think any double stroller is. What I liked most about I it is that both seats can be tuned a variety of ways. So for instance when the baby can sit well in the seat and not the infant carrier, I can still have him facing me which my older son can face outward and look around. One day I was on a walk and it got super windy out of no where blowing right into my older sons face as he was sitting facing forward. I stopped and was able to turn the seat so he could face me and the wind not bother him, it was perfect. I can definitely see myself using the double stroller for a while but I’m also glad I didn’t buy a brand new one. I’d definitely suggest checking online places like Marketplace and Craigslist before buying new, especially if your unsure how long you’ll use it.

I mostly use my single bob stroller and put the baby in the ergo (I love baby wearing!!) but we also have a Phil and teds which is awesome and so compact! And we inherited a double bob- great for joys around the neighborhood but a beast and doesn’t fit in my trunk
