My mom too controlling ?

So I’m 25 and married now with kids

But when I lived at my moms house omg she’s super controlling I know age is just a number when u live at ur moms house .

But she took the controlling to a certain extent.

My sister is 18 and lives at her house my mom dose not let her do anything or go anywhere she can hardly come over to my house because my mom won’t let her only sometimes she allows her to come over .

My mom thinks me and my husband will let my sister drink or party and that’s not true she acts super strict when my sister asks to come over to my house my mom calls and texts her the whole time she’s over . Also my mom makes remarks about my husbands family who lives across the street she says my sis probably just wants to come to my house to go see my husbands little brother and hook up with him since they are both the same age she thinks he’s a huge pot head that wants to do drugs with my sister 😭😂😂 we think it’s so funny they have zero interest in one another 😂 my mom also make remarks about my sis in law wanting to get my sis drunk and that isn’t true she’s always working my mom things negative about everything including my husband because he drinks beer here and there NOT EVERYDAY just randomly he’s 25 so I don’t see the problem..

Me and my husband and kids are planning to visit my aunt and uncle for the 4th of July for the weekend in Vegas we haven’t seen them in a long time I want her to meet my kids .

My uncle asked if we can bring my sister with us since they haven’t seen her in years as well I told them I would ask my mom since she lives with her .

My mom said absolutely not even tho it’s just family .

My mom made the excuse by saying she can’t come because we didn’t invite my brother to go I told her there isn’t room in my car we are taking both kids with us so we only have space for one extra person and my uncle asked to bring my sister.

But my sister really wants to go she’s begging my mom to let her go she never goes out and my mom keeps saying no no and no !!

My sister thinks my mom is saying no because she never lets her go places even if it’s just to my house she only lets her sometimes but if she finds out we will go to the lake or out of town while my sister is with us she will get super mad and blow up her phone .

My husband even offered to pay for everything for my sister in Vegas food or whatever she needs he feels bad my mom won’t let her go is my mom being to controlling ? It’s a family trip it’s not like we will go to bars or clubs we have our kids with us what u ladies think ?
