Scared of sex

I’m 19 and I’ve never had sex before. I genuinely don’t understand how it can not be awkward 😬 I feel like even if I was super comfortable with someone it would still end up being very awkward and I wouldn’t know what to do. I’m so scared to do it for the first time because I’m extremely insecure and I just feel like it won’t be a good experience no matter what I do. Does anyone have any advice on how to become less scared of sex? It’s just so daunting :(
