Rash?

Hi mamas! I was just giving babe a bath after dinner and noticed these spots at the top of his back. He didn’t eat anything new that I’m aware of.. We were playing outside a couple of hours before this (in the shade, but it was 90 degrees out). Also he had his vaccines on Thursday for MMR & Hep A. Any idea what this could be from? He was acting normal and no fever, I’m just a little worried since he’s in bed now..

I was told I could see a rash from the MMR for about a week. And it looked similar to that.
I also saw it most when she was in the bath

Heat rash? My kids get slight rash like that when they are outside when it is hot.

A rash is a possible side effect of the MMR vaccine. I think 4-10 days after the shot. My frieznds baby had a fever and a rash. Maybe that's it?

I would give your doctor a call just to see if it could be a side affect of the shots. More than likely, I would say it’s a heat rash or a little eczema. My daughter has eczema and her arms look like that a lot. Did you put sunscreen on? Maybe it’s a reaction to that.

Most likely a rash from MMR. My daughter ran fever 4 days after along with other symptoms and got a rash the day after she started to run fever. It’s gone now.

Heat rash? My son got a rash on his arms on Saturday and we were in the sun. He had sunscreen on and it’s a brand I’ve used before without issue. It didn’t spread to any other part of his body so I’m waiting for it to go away and see if it comes back with heat/sun. Some people in my family are very sensitive to the sun and we get a rash and I’m thinking he’s the same way.

Thanks for the responses ladies! The rash seemed to be cleared up this morning so I’m assuming it was a heat rash. His doctor messaged me back (I sent her a picture of it) and said it’s hard to say but it could be either heat rash or from his vaccines. She said if he’s not bothered to not mess with it and just to call if it got worse!

My daughter’s neck looks like that daily! She has eczema though.
