Personally, I think it is easier for the first year or so to have a click’n go type of car seat-whichever brand you can afford. We also have a 4ever type of car seat but we didn’t make that transition until they started facing forward. I absolutely HATED that transition too. I felt like it took longer to load and unload the kids when I was by my self running errands. We have twins. Often times, they would also fall asleep in the car and stay asleep while I ran errands because I didn’t have move them around or take them out of the straps. Another perk of the click’n go style is that they fit in the grocery store buggies which eliminates all sorts of other issues you may come across.

I hate graco products. They feel cheap and there are a number of known issues with their various offerings. I actually switched out our rarely used graco seat for a clek because I hated it so much. There are a number of better otptions, but britax or nuna are great places to start for a high quality seat with extra safety features and easier use.
