Old blood then nothing

Hey ladies! My period is a little irregular, but I’m curious to know if anyone has gone through this.

My last period started on April 3rd and I still haven’t got it again. I checked for pregnancy about 2 weeks ago and it was negative.

I recently started having a little bit of old blood and I assumed my period would start. Then it completely stopped and I have no discharge or period.

Im honestly scared to take another test because I don’t want to face the disappointment of a negative test. :/

Anyone had that experience?
