Signs of potty training? Help!

What were the signs for your little ones? Right now our 22 months old hides to poop, pulls at his wet diapers, and says poo when he poops and he will grab your hand to get you to his room to change his diaper. I feel like he is really young to potty train but didn’t know what else I should wait for or how to go about it. I don’t want to push him or anything

Our daughter was telling us when she wanted to poo, going to get herself a new nappy etc - she had been doing it for awhile but more consistently at 22 months so we went for it - she ran around bare bottomed for about 6/7 days, then we put trousers/shorts on her (no undies) for another week and then we added undies. We used a sticker reward chart - she responded really well to it and is nappy free during the day. She took to it so quickly, had a few accidents but mainly when she was engrossed in an activity or didn’t know where the toilet was.
Go for it! Nothing to lose! Just perhaps a little extra washing for a short while.

My first potty trained closer to 3. She knew about her wet and dirty diapers but just didn’t want to potty train, and having accidents was pretty traumatizing for her. We would practice sitting on a little potty to start and then eased into actually potty training.

He is ready! My son was done training at 20 months, it's totally doable!

My son was fully potty trained for pee at 22 months. Poop took a few months longer because he didn’t like sitting on the potty. He’d pee in real adult toilet standing up on a stool. If they’re ready then try it.

I would do it now. If you wait too long you’ll miss your window and it will be a nightmare. Or you’ll have a 5 year old still in diapers (seen this several times among family and friends) 
I’m the oldest of five and we were all potty trained (except at night, we all wore pull-ups) by 18-19 months... the worst thing that could happen is you get a week on and realize your kiddo isn’t ready and have to go back to diapers 🤷🏼‍♀️

My daughter does all of these things too. I’m not 100% if she’s really ready but it’s worth just trying it out. If they don’t take to it then stop and try again in a few months. 
We haven’t started because I just had a baby 2 weeks ago so one major change at a time. Might start at the end of the month 🤷🏻‍♀️
