Took my 3 hour glucose test 3 2 weeks ago.I passed the 1st glucose test earlier on in my pregnancy. The 3 hour I passed the the first half and failed the 2nd and 3rd half.At 28 weeks received a phone call by my ob,to set up an appointment with the dietician. I am 43 ,ftm,I am not overweight, I eat healthy. All I drink is water,eat veggies, chicken, Turkey, salmon. I don't eat junkfood.My prepregnancy weight was 118.My Ob was shocked about the results.The dietician ordered supplies to test my blood sugar, I started today with the test and it has been normal range. In the morning it was under 90.breakfast 70,lunch 79.I think bc the drink I had was extremely sugary caused me to fail the glucose test .anyone had the same experience?You was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and ended up not having it based on the meter results?If so did you still have to monitor it until the end of your pregnancy?Or did you have a second opinion regarding the 3 hour glucose test?
