Metformin success stories? Or your experience

So after 2 years not knowing what's wrong with me, 2 years of trying almost three, 5 rounds of progesterone not working my doctor finally prescribed me metformin and I would really like to hear success stories or other people's experiences on it?
Btw still don't know what's wrong 😣

My sister and I have PCOS. My sister had multiple miscarriages before getting pregnant with her daughter and one while she was pregnant. After she had her daughter they prescribed Metformin because her periods were wakey and hadn't shown up in months. She got pregnant at 3 months. I had problems with my periods not showing up for months too. After 8 months i got pregnant. 6 months of being on Metformin.
