Nipple Piercings

I’m beginning to get really tempted to get my nipples pierced (I’ve wanted them for a while but one of my friends is going to get hers done tomorrow). I was wondering if anyone who has them or knows someone who has theirs pierced could give me pros and cons, tips, etc.

One of my big insecurities is how large my areloas are (the part around the actual nipple) I wanted to get hoops, but the more I’m looking at them and my size, I feel like it wouldn’t look good.
