Which one would you say is better in your opinion? And is it worth trying?

Don’t do either one… They’re allowed to use your information in the future, for example if you come up showing early signs for heart failure or heart failure runs in your family that you didn’t know about, insurance can buy that information and deny you coverage in the future￼

Ancestry is better for the family tree building and finding documents such as gravestones, travel papers, death records
23 and me has the option to get all your health testing and finding variants for possible conditions in your DNA
I have both, if I had to pick just one I’d say ancestry for the tree. BUT if you wait for any holiday to buy them they go on sale, I got each for like $80, one on Black Friday one of Boxing Day

Hate to ruin this for everybody, but I had a professor who took one of all of these types of tests a few years ago and each one gave wildly different results and he said none were close to his true ancestry which he has records of.
