What are some questions you’d ask your obgyn now?

I’m 22+3 and a FTM. I have a teleconference with my obgyn today. I’ve had a recent scan at the high risk doctor and have another next week. My scan was normal and they confirmed I’m having a boy. 💙
So far I have asking about
- back pain
- getting a blood pressure monitor from insurance
- to see if my ob knows anything about labor classes going on. 
Are there any other questions that I should be asking right now?

We’re about to take our glucose test in a few weeks if you have questions about that. 
Or ask about any upcoming procedures or “ailments” you may be expected to experience. 
If or when they would like you to think about a birthing plan.  
You may be able to google a list of questions to ask your dr also.

I asked about sleep positions and how to cater to certain physical anomalies I have (collapsed feet and loose rotator cuff for ex). I meant to ask about colostrum and what to expect at my last appt since I started getting hard deposits but forgot. Also asked about safe allergy treatements. Etc...

It’s also worth asking when is a best time to discuss birth plan (or what is normal at the practice/hospital etc where you are delivering) - delayed cord clamping, newborn checks etc. if they say it’s normally discussed at a later time, that works. I like to know these things with enough time to mentally plan. Also potentially worth asking any restriction on activities if you are working out or just active in general. What possible warning signs/symptoms warrant a call (if you haven’t discussed this)?

You could ask if they recommend a pediatrician in the area. You’ll be seeing them more frequently after 30 weeks so if you forget anything you can write it down and ask the next time ☺️
