Today I went for my first checkup and I am 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant according to my last period that started on April 20th. When the doctor started feeling my stomach, she ordered an ultrasound for tomorrow because she says I feel further along. I’m certain of when I had my last period and it was a very heavy one. Why would I be measuring further along?

I guess my dr just guessed wrong! I measured only two days ahead at my ultrasound today and it’s only one baby. I’m 7 weeks and 5 days.

Maybe your last period was heavy implantation bleeding? It’s happened to women where they think it’s a period because it’s a bit heavy, but it was implantation bleeding!
