Anyone have BV in early pregnancy? Did it cause spotting?

I'm 6 weeks 3 days I discovered I had BV last Friday and got medication but I've been having some light spotting mixed with cervical mucus only when I wipe some days, not everyday. Wondering if BV is the cause as Doc said it can sometimes cause spotting.

I had a UTI in my last pregnancy and it caused bleeding. Sorry not exactly BV but close.
