It's embarrassing..

I've had a bad smell don't there as long as I could remember, but I've never said anything. It's been like 5 years.. It's so strong, but I think I'm the only one that notices thankfully. I'm so embarrassed to go to the gyno because I went for the first time last November and I felt like I was judged by the tech for saying I've smelt bad for a year (I lied). I did tell them, but I didn't realize I needed to request the BV test so I've just been dealing with it. It's only an odor, no itch or odd discharge.

What happens if you've had it for a long time and never got it treated? I realize this might not be the right group, but no one ever replies to these post when I post in the proper group. Now I'm getting to the point where I just want to get it over with. If I can't get an appointment with my gyno should I go to my normal doctor? Even with Covid still around? I'm not sure what to do. I'm much more comfortable with the gyno, she's so sweet and did whatever she could to make me feel comfortable and distracted
