How do you remember to take your birth control??

I’m having the HARDEST time. Our youngest just turned 1 and I had an IUD put in when she was 6 weeks old. I was having some major side effects (as I have with a couple of other birth controls over the years) and finally got it removed about a month and a half ago.

I started taking the mini pill after that and I’ve been having the hardest time trying to remember to take it every day. No matter what I do! No matter where I put it, leave myself notes, a reminder on my phone, etc.. I just forget it and usually don’t end up taking it at the same time every day.

We can’t afford an “oops”. We’re a blended family of 4 and we’re DONE. My husband was supposed to get a vasectomy on April, it got pushed back because of COVID and finally rescheduled for this Monday... but when he went in for it, there was complications of a prior surgery he’s had and they are going to have to put him under for it. We don’t have a date for that yet. But in the mean time, we really can’t have another baby!!!
