Does anyone’s 14 month old not recognize their name ?

So we made the mistake of using multiple nicknames mixed with his name when addressing my baby and now I’m trying to get him to acknowledge his name 😩 also he says dada when he’s ready and somewhat of “mama” but that’s rare. He laughs at the games we play and also to his baby shows. We’re trying to get him to be more vocal. Any tips mama’s?

I’m the same he loves the tv which I limit it, he responds to other sounds though or me singing I’m started to think he has signs of autism 😔 his doc did refer him to speech therapy at his 13 month check up

Well your first issue is using electronics to teach your baby how to talk.
Turn it off, read a book, walk around outside just talk.
I'm super against anything electornic to teach kids anything unless they have a learning issue

Turn off the tv and read more books. Hearing familiar voices (not on tv) repeating words encourages language.
