Long story had my son the end of March, I dont have a computer and my hubby went to a friends house to use computer. Well his girlfriend said she would do it so we let her, again I was in hospital.

She made a claim for tci due to the corona which we do have a 9yr old daughter but I wanted tci done for the birth of our son which is 4 weeks and my husband did stay home and his boss has records... well because of the corona I patiently waited and by end of may when my son was turning 2 months I sent emails and called which couldn't get through.

Never recieved any letters from them. Well finally a guy from tci called stated the claim wasn't done right to refile, same day women called said to refile so I did... a day later after refiled a women called saying all they needed was a proof of birth certificate so I sent it was waited another week.

WELL TODAY another women called said that my husband was denied that we took to long to file that he can stay home 4 weeks and put a claim from my sons birth to when he turns 1yrs old... HELLO HE ALREADY STAYED HOME FOR 4 WEEKS!!!

I have cried so much bc we do need money I had him stay home knowing he can get paid and all of this is happening. .

She said to do an appeal but I dont see the point... what I see is those that lie to double dip get money and those try to do the right thing get shit

Trying to do research to see if its says there is a time frame to back date claim. Because according to women on phone it's only 30 days. But never recieved letters and due to the Corona and being on the news with so many claims I assumed they were backed up and now I got screwed.
