Just got laid off

I am a Michigan teacher who just got laid off...I am due July 29. I am absolutely devastated because I think of the financial burden we are going to be under with 1 income. As if 2020 and covid wasn't hard enough I got hit with this. I have found some silver linings but I just can't believe my district laid off a pregnant woman due 3 weeks before school is to start again. It doesn't even give me an opportunity to apply for new positions. I am just venting and just need to get it off my chest.
