C Sections💙

I’m extremely nervous about having this C section done in 3 weeks.. My due date is July 13th but my doctor is telling me since we’re having C section I will have to take him at 37 to 38 weeks. With my first baby girl I had her natural but through all the issues I went through after having her he wants me to have C section with this one. Can anybody please tell me a little bit about C sections? Are you suppose to dilate any? I’m so new to this C section thing and just nervous about it.
