Afraid of love?

I'm in Uni,but I've never been able to open myself up to dating.Ive made a few friends from deliberately trying but the dating bit bothers me.I tried to date this guy,he was really cute but I realized that he was weird. He was a pervert and till date I regret dating him. It didnt help. Somehow I haven't pictured myself falling in love ever it bugs me.

(I was bullied in high school and had terrible roomies too.)

Am I scared of love?
