Is Oliver that popular of a name?

I keep hearing from everyone of how popular Oliver is for a boy name but I don't know a single person nor a single baby born recently with the name Oliver. What do y'all think?

I’ve taught for 12 years and never come across an Oliver. I graduated with 1200 kids and none were named Oliver lol. Maybe it’s a regional thing? I’m in Houston. Or just coincidence. But don’t change it if y’all like it!!!!!!!!!

I have a 3 year old nephew named Oliver and several in my 2 year olds mommy and me classes. 
I usually go by the ranking on baby center or the census. 
If it’s top 25 it usually doesn’t matter the region, you’ll haven’t least one or more. 
Top 50 is you’ll likely see it based in any region at least once. 
Top 100 is it’s not something unusual you wouldn’t expect in any region. 
Out of the top 200 it becomes pretty “safe” that you won’t have more than one or so (if that) other kids in your kids class with the same name. 
Save for regional names that are big in your area. Like my hometown area has a ton of “country/southern” names that may not be on the national top anything, but around here, you’re going to find a ton of them. Like Wyatt, Beau, Dallas, Magnolia, anything that starts with “Oak,” any double barreled name. Those may not be popular everywhere, but you’re gonna have 3 in your pre school class. 
My husband can’t understand that even tho he doesn’t know anyone personally named something, it’s a trend in kids he hasn’t met because we don’t have a huge amount of kids in our friend group. 
The rankings work based on how many kids are named that. 
Regardless, Oliver is super cute tho.
