Need some direction-opinions

Michelle (mamabear)

Hey ladies! I’m at sort of an end pass here, I feel. I’m pregnant with baby #4, due in just a few weeks. My state is one that will probably not reopen schools in the fall because of COVID. I’ve been blessed to work from home so far, and be with the kids-but my job expects me to come back in the office in September. So-that will mean a) I’ll have to spend half my paycheck every week on daycare for my infant which feels INCREDIBLY wrong on so many levels and b) my older (but still young) kids will have no one at home with them to take care of them, and help with distance learning. This scenario makes no sense to me-financially or logistically. But Ive begged my job to let me continue to work from home, and they won’t.

I guess my best option is to try and find a work from home position-but they are SO hard to find. There are lots-but also many applicants to each. So.

I would love to take this opportunity to go to school, and think that I could get financial aid to not make it a burden on us....but I still wouldn’t be making money-which we need. So I just don’t know which direction to go in, and I’m wondering if any ladies have been in my shoes?
