Blood in poop?

My daughter is six weeks old and EBF. I'm a FTM and I just noticed dark looking spots in her poop. Does this look like blood/something else? Calling her pediatrician tomorrow when they open. Thanks!

It looks normal to me, but if this is different from what you’ve been seeing with your LO, then don’t hesitate to call your pediatrician. You know your baby better than anyone.

Normal to me. She could have been straining to poop. My daughter had that when she was a baby a few times and she was very gassy.

Talk to your pediatrician. My baby girl starting fighting me with bottles during feeding and you could tell she was in pain/uncomfortable. She asked us to bring in her next poopy diaper so they could run a test on it to see if any trace of blood was in it and they did find trace of blood
Even though we couldn’t see it! She was diagnosed with Allergic Colitis and had to be switched to Hypoallergenic Formula. She is back to my happy baby now!
