Does anyone deal with possessiveness in their relationship? My boyfriend and I have been dating for seven months, I know it doesn’t sound like much, but I’m in high school. Anyways, it’s not like a huge issue yet, because it’s not like he goes through my phone, “conveniently” shows up where I am, it’s just not that extreme. But he does get mad when I leave my house sometimes, and he hates when I hang out with my friends. His parents told me once that he’s been that way since he was a child. With toys and clothing I guess. I really want to be with him, but I’m asking for tips on how to deal with this or a way to get through to him.
