How much should the public be entitled to know about their president / country leader?

Should we have the right to know their religion, whether they have children, if they are married or engage in extra marital affairs, how much they earn, how much tax they pay, the state of their health?  Where is the line drawn?  
Is it our business or our interests to know certain things?

As much as the government has a right to know about its citizens. It’s only fair.

I think we have the right to know if they're doing something illegal or unethical. I don't care about their taxes until there's suspicion of them lying or defrauding. If one president can get in trouble for cheating on his wife, they all should. They need to be a good president, but they also need to be a good person worth following.

All elected officials should have a certain degree of transparency. We cannot fully judge their character and determine if they’re worth our vote if we don’t know who they are.

If they’ve done something illegal or unethical, yeah. I don’t care if a president cheats on his wife or smoked a blunt in college 🤷🏾‍♀️ same goes for health records and tax records. But I do think we should be capping how much candidates can spend on campaigning and do more investigations on lobbying of any elected official. What is public record is probably just the tip of the iceberg 😅

Personally I couldn’t care about how much they earn or how many children they have or anything like that. 
I only care if they are going to run the country well and do a good job , it’s a job after all

Technically the president is employed by their people. So anything that would be accessable by an employer of any normal person should be accessable to the people for their president.
With the possible exception of home address (you know besides the Whitehouse) and safety things like that.

If the government has to track my children, my marital status, my past jobs, and everything I do. Then I damn well have every fucking right to know the exact same history of every single person in our government.
