What was your libido like right after giving birth?

Just had my baby and I am so impatient to sleep with my husband.  Six weeks can’t come soon enough but I of course will wait. I did have a couple of tears but I still can’t help but wish we had the green light.  How did you feel?

I felt SUPER connected/bonded with my husband after the birth of our son. We had just been through the most amazing experience together and seeing him as a father was so sexy! So I couldn’t wait to have sex again. We waited until we got the go ahead from the Dr and took it slow the first time but sex was amazing for us after. I’m hoping it’ll be the same with #2. I was put on pelvic rest for 10 weeks of this pregnancy and have had very little interest in having sex in my 3rd trimester so I hope it comes back after baby🤞🏻😬

I mean, I always have some serious libido going but I’ve also always been super sensitive in the perineum (not in a fun way) and having a 2 cm 2nd degree tear with stitches there freaked me out too much to do anything more than rub my clit 😂
So I was really more generally horny than specifically wanting any kind of penetrative sex 😬
