HCG levels , and 5 week mark , sac but no baby ??

Question

Has anyone ever had an HCG level of 8000 at 5weeks ? And also has anyone ever went to the ER and they said they seen a sac but no baby ? Ill be 6 weeks Sunday and I have an ultrasound with my OB Monday.  Any advice ?   I had a miscarriage in Dec of 2019 and I'm so nervous..... BTW my due date is 2.13.21 , my daughter's birthday is 2.12 ♥️ she'll be 6 .

It could be perfectly normal but unfortunately in my case back in February when I went in I was 7 weeks and 6 days pregnant and all they saw was a sac and then I went back in two weeks later and still just a sac. I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum (sac grows but no baby). I hope you are able to see your baby next time ❤️

Normal. My ultrasound 5w 2 d hcg was 15,000 just a sac no baby or yolk sac seen. Now 13 weeks :) 5 weeks is WAY too early which is why they don’t like giving you an ultrasound till 7-8 weeks.

This was about 5 years ago for me, so I don’t remember everything, but I went to the ER for some bleeding at 5 weeks pregnant. They tested my HCG, but I don’t remember the level. They also did an ultrasound, but could only see an empty sac. The doctor said this is common at this early in pregnancy, but I was still a wreck.
I had to go back about a week or so later for a second ultrasound to see if they could see baby. At that ultrasound, we were able to see baby and her heartbeat. That baby just turned 4-year-old last month! ☺️
I know it’s really hard not to, but try not to stress. It’s very normal to not see anything on an ultrasound at this stage. Keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll have good news when you go back in!
