Wedding Dress Shopping Too Early?

Question

How early did you start shopping for your wedding dress? Did you find it on your first trip or did you shop around for a while? I'm getting married in September 2021 and I don't know when to start searching. I'm nervous about weight fluctuation due to thyroid conditions.

Look for second hand dresses.  Both my wedding dresses cost me $500. 1 of my dress is from ebay lady sold it for $65 and it fits perfectly. It was Limited edition special occasion torrid dress. Other dresses  I found for like $19 getting it wash an alternator what cost the most.

I would say 9-12 year in advance allows u to be able to take your time, compare pricing etc. I personally think dress cost are extremely overrated for an outfit we gonna wear one day. Whatever you do... have a budget.... stick to it. Find a good resonably priced  tailor. When it comes to wedding planning... the more time the better because u dont have to be pressured.

I got married 2/2020, bought my dress 6/2019, started looking around end of 2018. I used to work as a bridal stylist for many years. 
   Depending on stylist, shipping times, alterations and bridal photos and cleanings i would say start now.
