Tomatoe chips? Apple chips??? HELP

As

I am really trying to achieve this for my 13 month old. She loves tomatoes and I’d like to give her something healthy to snack on when she wants a snack. Right now she gets those baked flavored green beans you buy at the store she loves those. And fruits and veggies. But I’d like to expand her snacks to something not preserved. I have failed endlessly and trying to make these. Every time they come out burnt and soggy...every single time. I’ve attempted tomatoe chips, apple crisps, and sweet potatoe fries with my air fryer using the air fryer setting, roast setting and bake. They all come out like that! PLEASE help! Should I try the oven? What should I do?
