a question to moms who’ve gone through labor

i know i’m still a little early to be thinking about this, but i’m just curious. if you had a natural birth, was it painful? my mom had epidural with me and went natural with my brother. and i was also told by my mom that getting epidural is not worth it and you might as well endure the pain of a natural birth because the epidural itself hurts plus after you give birth you can’t get up out of bed so you’re basically bedridden. i just want to hear other people’s thoughts as well! thank you for you’re time :)
