Did you tell family about your loss?

As far as miscarriages go, did you tell your family if it was early on? 
I am/was 7 weeks along and I am currently miscarrying. I am debating about telling my mom. I don’t wanna cry over the phone (we live far from each other). She didn’t even know I was pregnant as I was waiting to tell her the next time I saw her. I feel weird telling people

I'm so sorry for your loss. You do what feels right for you. For me, I needed my mom, I had to tell her. I told my dad and stepmom too, because they could tell something was wrong. A few close friends knew. For me, I didn't need to keep it a secret. I needed support from people who love me, and women who have been there.

I told my cousin and a few close friends about my chemical and when I had my ectopic I told everybody. It was diagnosed at 6w4d. Having the support of my friends and family was so helpful. I didn’t want it to be a secret, it was nothing to be ashamed about.

i am so sorry for your loss 😔, we were going to wait to tell our family i was expecting but couldn’t keep the excitement we told them at 7 weeks and i had a miscarriage 2 days later i often thought to myself that i should have waited to tell them but i don’t regret it because we do need the support of our family especially in a hard time like this. you shouldn’t have to suffer alone i know it helped me a lot having my family to support my husband and i , you will know who you will feel comfortable talking to about your loss ✨   wishing you nothing but the best 💞

I have not told anyone other than my boss (had to call off to get into the doctor). I too was a little over 7 weeks when I started bleeding and hadn’t told anyone about the pregnancy because we were waiting until after the first appointment which was the following week. I may tell my mom after we get pregnant again but nobody even knows we are trying so I didn’t want to spring a bunch of things on them at once. I thought that would be weird too. Really I think it’s whatever you feel will give you the most peace. If you want your mom’s support then tell her. If you want to surprise her with a grandchild then you might not want to mention it. Sorry for your loss! ❤️

They knew about all. My first pregnancy I told them right away be use it was Christmas. I had taken the test like 2 days prior. Then a week or so I lost it. 
Second pregnancy I waited till I had gotten an ultrasound. I was 6+5, early because I ovulated so late. Lost that 2 weeks later but it stopped at 7weeks and I didn’t know. 
Third they knew by 7 weeks and she was still born at 21 weeks so everyone knew about her.

I eventually told people. At first it was just my husband. But then a few months ago I finally just talked about it because I would’ve been due in March

I told my family about most of my pregnancies right away, and they were supportive each time I went through a miscarriage.

I don’t think I would have told many people about it. Maybe only close family and friends to vent or to talk about to. I lost my son at 39 weeks but idk what I would have done had it been earlier. 
It might help talking to your mom if you’re close with her even tho you can’t see her right now.
