Baby monitor - how long to continue ?

When do you stop using the baby monitor ? We still have it for my 21 month old. we are looking to move and by that time we hope to have my 3 month old in her own crib and room and get a toddler bed for my first. Do most people by a second monitor ? Thanks

Great question we are in the same boat!! I love being able to check on our toddler at night or during naps. I asked my husband last week if it would be weird to keep it in her room until she goes to college!! 😝

I have a 20 month old and another on the way. I foresee us getting a second monitor! I can’t imagine not keeping an eye on my little guy when he sleeps.

I still use mine every night. He rarely ever wakes up at night, but when he does he is terrified and screams so loud. I just want to make sure I hear him because he usually needs me to settle him on those nights

We bought a second monitor for baby #2. We are planning to keep the camera in his room for as long as it seems reasonable. My 5 year old nephew relies on it to talk to my sister in the middle of the night. He tells her when he doesn’t feel well or if it’s time to wake up.

So I had my second child when my first was 15 months. We had to get a dual monitor system. I honestly can’t picture not having it for my daughter now. She’ll be 2 September 18th. I’m grateful we have the monitor system we have so I can check on both kids.
