Baby not growing.... UPDATE
I went to the ER last night. I had bled very heavily with clots.
My last ultrasound I was about 9 weeks. They checked on the baby last night, it measured about 11 weeks. I’m supposed to be 14 weeks and 5 days. Also, the amniotic fluid was very low :(
Has this happened to anyone?
I’m going to see an obgyn in about two hours, but wanted to see if anyone else had this experience, especially in the 2nd trimester.
Update:
Thanks everyone.
So it was confirmed that I had low amniotic fluid.
The obgyn measured baby to match how far along I’m supposed to be (14 weekS 5 days)
I was sent to the triage to test to see if maybe my water broke. It was confirmed that it did rupture, and now it’s just a waiting game. I’m going to see the doctor every week from now on.
Baby did have a strong heart beat (140s).
UPDATE 2:
On Friday I want to a specialist. Basically I had no amniotic fluid. Because of that, the doctor believed that there really wasn’t a chance of survival or if I did make it full term the baby would die a few minutes after birth. We had planned for another appointment two weeks later to see if by chance it had resealed.
However, today I delivered my sleeping angel at home. We came to the hospital where I delivered the placenta. We found out we have a baby boy! We had always hoped it would be a boy.
They are not sure what caused my water to break last week. We plan to cremate our baby. He looks so peaceful.
I’m now waiting to go home tonight and hug my almost 4 year old a little tighter.
Good luck to the rest of you ladies! Praying for a full and safe delivery.
