What does this mean??

I just went for my 20 week ultrasound & she said baby is 15oz basically a pound already.. she said she is something of 97%. Does this mean my baby is going to be big or something.?

They normally weigh in around 12oz at that time do yours is just a teeny bit heavier but at this stage this is no indication that you'll necessarily have a big baby by the time you give birth. 
They can fluctuate so much ☺️✨

My girl was 1 pound 1 oz at my 22+3 appt 
It’s an estimate to begin with and babies can grow at all speeds so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. 
With my son at his anatomy scan he measured a little on the heavier side and then he ended up being tiny at delivery

You’ve got a hefty girl in there. ☺️☺️ Mine was only 8 oz. at 18 weeks.

Just like after birth there are percentiles for baby size. Mine was 85%. Which means within the ranges of babies sizes out there you are on the upper end of size for the age.
