Laid off right before I’m due
I just found out I’ll be laid off from my job due to budget cuts less than a month before my due date. Has anyone else gone through this or have any advice? Getting stressed out since I had been expecting to take paid leave that my job offered and now I’m not sure what to do about insurance, unemployment, what to do if I can’t find a new job or if I’m not eligible for paid leave at a new job if I won’t be there long enough.
