Transition to toddler bed before nighttime potty training ?

This sounds like a nightmare. Anyone want to share their experience?

We just transitioned my daughter to a toddler bed.  She’s still consistently waking up with wet diapers, so we haven’t done night time training yet although she’s potty trained during the day.  Once she starts having dry diapers we’ll work on it.

Being able to not pee yourself at night time is developmental and hormonal, you can't really train for it. Keep your child in nappies till they consistently have dry ones for at least 2 weeks. In the meantime moving to a toddler bed in preparation is a great idea.

We transition our son to toddler bed as soon as he was potty trained and he was doing so well at night but lately hes been too lazy to get up to pee especially when hes too exhausted so i make sure he go pee  before bedtime. Nightime is always challenging.
